A florist website platform built exclusively for independent florists, helping real local flower shops sell online under their own brand without commission or relay selling.
Built exclusively for independent florists since 2009. No commission. No relay selling.
Florist Window is a specialist florist website platform built exclusively for independent florists. We provide the technology that allows florists to sell online under their own brand, receive customer payments directly, and fulfil orders locally without commission or relay selling.
Relay models place a third party between the florist and the customer. Florist Window removes that layer, keeping everything direct.
We do not sell flowers, process customer payments, or act as a reseller. All orders remain direct between the customer and the florist.
Florist Window launched in 2009 as part of UK Superweb, a web business founded in 1998. Long before Florist Window existed, we were already building structured websites around local discovery, organised content and search visibility.
The aim from the beginning was clear. Give UK Superweb florist clients, many of whom are still Florist Window clients today, a better way to sell online without relying on local web designers or other florist website providers.
Later, after gaining a deeper understanding of wire and relay services, we developed our commission-free direct florist network so Florist Window clients could send orders to each other directly. More than a decade after going live, that service remains unique.
The first Florist Window client website went live on 23 December 2009.
That florist was Bedford Florist, and we still work with www.bedfordflorist.co.uk today.
The first online order followed on Christmas Eve 2009, and that early success helped shape the platform into what Florist Window has become for independent florists.
Florist Window is not a relay network and does not sit between the florist and the customer. We do not control florist pricing, process florist payments, or deduct commission from flower sales.
Customers order directly from the florist’s own website, using the florist’s own contact details and payment gateway. The florist fulfils the order locally under their own business name.
Payments are made directly to the florist using the florist’s own merchant account. Florist Window does not hold funds, take a percentage, or profit from florist sales.
Florists retain control of pricing, customer relationships, cash flow and branding at all times.
Sites accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Clearpay, Afterpay, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal globally.
Florist Window exists to help florists remain independent, profitable and in control while selling online.
Alongside Florist Window, we also support consumer-facing projects such as We Are Florists, LocalFlorists.co.uk and FlowerSubscriptions.co.uk, helping customers discover and order from real local florists online.
These projects follow the same principle as Florist Window itself. Supporting direct florist sales between the florist and their customer.
Florist Window has roots going back to the early days of the commercial web through UK Superweb. That long background in web publishing, search structure and local visibility continues to shape how Florist Window websites are built today.
SEO is not treated as an afterthought or an add-on. It is part of the foundation of how Florist Window websites are structured from the start.
Florist Window was built to help independent florists compete online under their own name, keep control of their orders and payments, and remain strong and independent online.
The Florist Window blog shares practical advice, ideas and straight talking content for independent florists. It covers florist websites, SEO, direct selling, relay-free thinking, online visibility and how real local florists can stay competitive online.
