Below are answers to the questions we are most frequently asked by florists considering joining Florist Window.

 How long have you been doing what you do?

 We registered our first commercial domain on 23rd February 1998. Our original website, uksuperweb.co.uk, launched at midnight on 1st May that year. Over time, UK Superweb evolved into Florist Window. Our first florist website launched in December 2009 – and we’ve been supporting florists ever since. Find out more about Florist Window.

 How long will it take for my new website to go live?

 From the moment we receive your setup payment and completed form, we’ll have a first design ready within 4 weeks. We work with you directly by phone and email, making tweaks until you’re completely happy. Launch usually follows within days once content is finalised. You’ll end up with a professional florist website built to rival the big names – but yours, local, and commission-free.

 Will my website work on phones?

 Yes. All florist websites we create are fully mobile-friendly and work across all devices – smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktops.

 I’m a member of a relay company. Can I still use Florist Window?

 Yes. Many of our clients are still part of relay networks. With Florist Window, you get a bespoke site where you keep 100% of your online sales and have full control over your content.

 Are you a relay, wire, postal or letterbox flower company?

 No. We are a web design and development company. Our clients are real local florists who sell and deliver their own flowers. We promote independent florists through websites, automated emails, reminders, coupon tools and reporting features.

 Can I send national orders through Florist Window?

 Yes – within the UK, you can send orders to other florists in the Florist Window network. It’s free of commission, simple to use, and the full sale value is retained by the florists involved.

 Do you charge commission on sales?

 No. We never take a percentage. You keep 100% of your sales (minus standard card processing fees). We charge a simple fixed monthly fee.

 Do you hold on to any of the money from my orders?

 No. All payments go directly through your own payment gateway and into your bank account – usually within 2 to 3 business days.

 I don’t have my own flower photos. Can I still have an ecommerce website?

 Yes. We offer a choice of product ranges you can use free of charge. You can update names, prices or remove any items. Over time, you can add your own photos or ask us to. We’ll even upload your full current range for you before launch. See our flower ranges.

 Can I keep my existing domain name?

 Yes. We simply point your domain to your new Florist Window website. You remain the legal owner.

 Can I keep my current website design?

 Often yes – as long as we have the designer’s permission. We can replicate your layout within our platform so you keep the look while gaining new features.

 My friend said they’d help me build a website. Is that a good idea?

 It might seem like a cost-saving solution, but you risk delays and missed sales. Florist Window provides everything you need with a very low setup fee and no long waits. We’ve set up hundreds of florist websites with built-in SEO and ecommerce tools.

 Why should I use Florist Window instead of a local web designer?

 Most local design firms charge high upfront fees and build general-purpose websites. Ours are tailored to florists, come with expert support, and cost a fraction of what you'd expect to pay.

 Can I update my website myself?

 Yes. You can change products, prices, pictures, and page content anytime through your dashboard.

 What happens if I want to leave?

 You’re not tied into a contract. Just give 30 days' notice. We’ll help you point your domain to a new site and keep your current one live until you're ready.

 Can you get me top 10 Google rankings?

 No one can guarantee that. But our websites are built with SEO in mind and most florists achieve excellent rankings thanks to the structure, speed and support we offer.

 Do you offer exclusivity in my area?

 No. We support all real local florists. Our goal is to help independent shops thrive online – together, not in competition.

 Can I have two websites for the same business?

 Yes, if there’s a valid reason – such as separate services or customer bases. For example, one site for bouquets, another for weddings or events. Learn more about styling websites.

 Can two businesses use the same address on Google?

 Yes – if the services are different. But Google may not index two florists at one address offering identical products.

 Does owning multiple domain names help SEO?

 No. Redirected or parked domains do not boost rankings. Only domains with active, unique content will be indexed. Owning .com and .co.uk variants can protect your brand but won’t improve SEO unless they host published content.
